La Chinata smoked hot pepper flakes are great with Spanish dishes like chickpea salads, patatas bravas and broad bean stews. Also use them to add heat and smokiness to pizza, pasta and barbecue dishes.
The hot pepper flakes come from three varieties of pepper – Jeromin, Bola and Jaranda. They are grown in La Vera, Caceres in western Spain, a region famous for its paprika. The peppers are dried and smoked over evergreen branches for an intensely smoky aroma.
