White Rabbit Candy

White rabbit candies are famously delicious Chinese chewy sweets, like a cross between nougat and childrens’ milk bottle penny-sweets. The White Rabbit sweets were originally marketed as a health food with the slogan “Seven White Rabbit candies is equivalent to one cup of milk”, although that should be taken with a pinch of salt.

White rabbit sweets are particularly popular around Chinese New Year when they are given as gifts or to welcome guests into the home.
