Dios Baco Manzanilla Sherry

Manzanilla sherry is a pale straw colour with a very dry and crisp finish. The humid, salty air of Sanlucar de Barameda – where the sherry is aged – gives a distinct salty tang to its aroma and flavour. Manzanilla sherry has a refreshing acidity with notes of straw and apple, and a hint of nuttiness in the finish. Serve Manzanilla sherry well chilled with seafood and light tapas dishes, or with roasted almonds as an aperitif.

The Bodegas Dios Baco in Jerez has been a winery since 1765. Current owners José Páez Morilla and daughter Alejandra now handcraft small batches of sherry there, all with the Jerez-Xérès-Sherry Designation of Origin. Other fabulous sherries from the Bodegas Dios Baco include Fino, Amontillado, Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez.

Once opened keep refrigerated and consume within three days for optimum freshness.
