Natco Medium Curry Powder

Medium curry powder offers a quick and convenient way to create a spicy curry. In Indian cuisine, where spices play such an important part, different spice mixtures are used to flavour various dishes and curry powder was a British invention, created to replicate Indian dishes.

The mixture of spices in curry powders varies according to the maker, ground coriander, turmeric, cumin, black pepper and mustard  among the key spices in this curry powder. Medium curry powder, as opposed to hot curry powder, has less of a chilli kick. Use it to create chicken, vegetable or meat curries. For best results, mix the mild curry powder with a little cold water to form a paste, which can then be fried briefly to bring out its flavour without burning.
