Description
Sweetened lotus paste is a ready-to-use filling for authentic Chinese mooncakes. Mooncakes are traditionally eaten during the Mid-Autumn Festival – lotus paste and red bean paste are the most popular fillings.
You can also use the sweetened lotus paste to make lotus seed buns – steamed bread buns a bit like a bao with a lotus paste filling.
Ingredients: sugar, water, lotus seeds (15.8%), white bean (13.7%), peanut oil, maltose, acidity regulator (E500). Contains allergens: peanuts.
