Description
Use sweetened mung bean paste to fill traditional mooncakes for the Chinese Mid-Autumn festival. This smooth paste is ready to use straight from the packet.
You can also use mung bean paste as a filling for steamed mung bean buns, or shoutao – a name meaning ‘longevity’. These peach-shaped steamed treats are often used to celebrate the birthdays of elderly friends and relatives.
Ingredients: sugar, mung bean (24.64%), water, soybean oil, maltose, white bean (3%), thickening agent (E1442). Contains allergens: soya.
